Dishes home cooked mixed with store bought. Our plates over flow with God's goodness. 
The homemade Hakka pickles good for digestion and great probiotics for the gut. Lunch finished with fresh foods and some Japanese sake (nihonshu, 日本酒).

Homemade cookies by my niece. Next year no need to huy from outside. Order direct aje 😊

The LORD, He crown our year 2026 with His goodness, And our paths drip with abundance (Psalm 65:11). Know therefore that the LORD God is God; He is the faithful God, keeping His covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love Him and keep His commandments (Deuteronomy 7:9). And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

Lord Jesus, I am grateful and thankful for Your faithfulness through the past year. May my LORD, You guide our steps in this new year, protect our loved ones (our family members), and grant us wisdom in all we do. May we be lights of Your truth, reflecting Your grace in our homes and workplaces. Thank You for a new beginning.
Never take pictures of foods when you're hungry. Took these pictures for our CNY Day 1 eats at a Korean restaurant in Giza. I forgot the Kimchi stew which was boiling on the stove and about 4-5 other side dishes.
The set we ordered was Dae Bak set, pricing RM51.90 (excl. 10+6%).

Daebak (대박) is a popular Korean slang term meaning "awesome," "amazing," "wow," or "jackpot...hmm...maybe it also mean "wah-lau-eh" 😂

Towards the end of our meals, we added the balance of the Robokki, pictched in about 2 tbsps of sliced garlic, kimchi and Gochujang (KR fermented chili paste) into the Kimchi stew - it was wow(!) flavorful. Unfortunately, we dare not drink too much of it because of the sauce from the Robokki, sweet 😬

Of all the Culinary Eats, thus far my Mom have not warmed up to Korean foods cooked outside. She's not used to the heavy sauces. However she loves home cooked KR meals.

Looks like a simple meal but it's RM30++ p/p.

Top left: Refillable brewed coffee ; Beef balls with mashed potatoes & cranberries sauce ; Baked spaghetti sheet with minced Beef (I thot it's a quiche 😏) ; toasted garlic breads ; breaded fried chicken chop with potatop chips (Bahasa translation on the menu was Cop Ayam 😄) - the sauce wasn't the normal BBQ Sauce tho, it was yellowish & a bit sweet, Swedish sauce kot ; a huge croissant ; mushroom soups and Fried Chicken Wings with Buffalo Sauce.

13 Nov : All of us got up before the crack of dawn only to read a message from Air Asia informing us that our 930am flight to Miri will be delayed to 11am+, then in the airport while waiting, we were informed it'll be delayed again to 1pm+. The twice delay messed up our plans in Miri. We were so tired upon arrival that we checked in to Jinhold Serviced Apartments and opted to eat in its in-house Mak Restaurant .  Too tired to do much we ordered pizzas, to our surprise it was good, so good we ordered them again on our stay before our trip back to Semenanjung. 14 Nov : Before we went to buy all the stuff for the program in Niah National Park (NNP), we went for a  dim sum breakfast. Embroideries of Spring

A Tapestry of Blooms For the past weeks I have seen more blooms from this tree species. The flowers have a fragrant smell and is one of my favorites.    Plumeria  is commonly known as  frangipani , highly aromatic and famous for its intense, sweet, and exotic fragrance. While Malaysia does not have the traditional four seasons, the period from March-May is often considered the "spring" season or the inter-monsoon season in terms of travel and weather patterns.  Other flowers are also busy blooming too... (Top) -  Bleeding-heart vine  (genus Clerodendrum thomsoniae of the family Lamiaceae), also known as   glory-bower ; or  bagflower . Native to tropical west Africa from Cameroon west to Senegal. Today at archery class we downloaded a score sheet app which helps keep track of our marks during practice. I shot 5 ends (shoots) of 6 arrows each , for a total of 30 arrows , and achieved a total score of 261 points . This gives an average of 52.2 points per end and 8.7 points per arrow .   After a while, the arrows went every where, to the coach's dismay :D  Despite wearing an arm guard, the bowstring still hit my arm twice. :( 3 days later, the bruise is still colorful. The game is fun but not so whenever I sustain a bruise.  In the evening.... We took a walk at The Kota @ PJ in the evening. Was tempted to go for the Denai Forest but since its evening the thoughts of mozzies discouraged us.
