A Walk @ BU4 | 23 Dec 2025

My Mom & I walked to a place near the BU MBPJ community centre. Makan at a shop called "Just Eat Lah". Wr had their signature nasi lemak with ayam goreng berempah and mee (hoon) siam curry chicken. The rice of the nasi lemak was a bit too salty for our taste but we "so like" the mee hoon siam was yummy and the curry chicken, nicely cooked. 
For dessert, we share a bowl of Bingsu Mango -- those pearly bubbles are sweet (top) & sourish sweet (bottom).

Along the walk, we saw buah sukun and a few mulberry trees (fruited & ripened).  Lime tree no fruits tho. The phak-fa-chai, Mom said it is used to boil water to mandi newborn jaundiced babies.

On the way home I saw these. Jambu air everywhere, no1 harvesting it cos it's at roadside 😞
On the way back we also stopped by the Rara shop for coffee. 
Then we checked out the MBPJ community library - no Chinese language books tho & not much choice.
We took a breather at The Club poolside. To sit there I bought a bottle of water, cost RM3. Today its quiet and kinda windy.  Hey! They have swim classes for adul! 
Ahem...We clocked 7090 steps today 😁

13 Nov : All of us got up before the crack of dawn only to read a message from Air Asia informing us that our 930am flight to Miri will be delayed to 11am+, then in the airport while waiting, we were informed it'll be delayed again to 1pm+. The twice delay messed up our plans in Miri. We were so tired upon arrival that we checked in to Jinhold Serviced Apartments and opted to eat in its in-house Mak Restaurant .  Too tired to do much we ordered pizzas, to our surprise it was good, so good we ordered them again on our stay before our trip back to Semenanjung. 14 Nov : Before we went to buy all the stuff for the program in Niah National Park (NNP), we went for a  dim sum breakfast. A Tapestry of Blooms For the past weeks I have seen more blooms from this tree species. The flowers have a fragrant smell and is one of my favorites.    Plumeria  is commonly known as  frangipani , highly aromatic and famous for its intense, sweet, and exotic fragrance. While Malaysia does not have the traditional four seasons, the period from March-May is often considered the "spring" season or the inter-monsoon season in terms of travel and weather patterns.  Other flowers are also busy blooming too... Today at archery class we downloaded a score sheet app which helps keep track of our marks during practice. I shot 5 ends (shoots) of 6 arrows each , for a total of 30 arrows , and achieved a total score of 261 points . This gives an average of 52.2 points per end and 8.7 points per arrow .   After a while, the arrows went every where, to the coach's dismay :D  Despite wearing an arm guard, the bowstring still hit my arm twice. :( 3 days later, the bruise is still colorful. The game is fun but not so whenever I sustain a bruise.  In the evening.... We took a walk at The Kota @ PJ in the evening. Was tempted to go for the Denai Forest but since its evening the thoughts of mozzies discouraged us.
